Friends of Basset Hound Welfare

friends was established on 1st July 2003 to provide a forum for those who have an empathy with the aims and work of Basset Hound Welfare and would like to become more involved with the charity.

It has achieved this by the publication of a newsletter entitled ‘In Your Own Time’.  Four of these are issued each year and have proved to be very popular.  Articles are submitted from friends sharing their Basset experiences, as well as information on Basset ailments, thoughts and recommendations on medications, websites and hints & tips – friends are encouraged to contribute and share their own experiences.

Basset Walks are arranged by friends across the country, they’re well attended and increasing in popularity.  New venues are being organised regularly and suggestions for new events are welcomed.

If you would like to become a friend of Basset Hound Welfare for a year, simply make a donation of any amount with which you feel comfortable, a minimum of £8.00. Complete the form below or email the appropriate information to: friends@bassethoundwelfare.org.uk .  Donations may be gift-aided, enabling the charity to reclaim the tax on your donation.  Our year begins on 1st July, anyone joining part-way through the year will receive all the newsletters issued in that year.
